Steel and Claw è un emozionante deckbuilder roguelike dungeon crawler multigiocatore che ti sfida a esplorare un dungeon nella foresta e a superare i tuoi limiti. Puoi scegliere il tuo percorso per affrontare i pericoli del dungeon. Gioca da solo, affrontando le profondità in solitaria, oppure unisciti ad altri per formare un gruppo formidabile. Fin dove riuscirai ad arrivare nel dungeon? Parti per un’epica avventura in Steel and Claw e scoprilo!
Come si gioca
Completa il gioco attraversando la foresta e sconfiggendo o evitando le bande di nemici. Raggiungi i dungeon e sconfiggili. Collabora con altri per liberare tutti e 4 i dungeon dei non-morti e conquistare la mappa. Avanza in ogni dungeon cliccando su una stanza collegata. Le stanze d’élite sono battaglie più difficili ma offrono ricompense migliori. Le stanze diventano più difficili man mano che scendi nel dungeon e in base al numero di giocatori presenti. Le stanze hanno anche la “oscurità”: ogni volta che una stanza viene completata e si prende un premio, l’oscurità aumenta rendendo tutto più difficile. Completare una stanza senza prendere un premio azzera l’oscurità. Anche la morte di un giocatore azzera l’oscurità... Ma nessuno lo vuole! In battaglia: trascina le carte su nemici, te stesso o amici per eseguire l’azione indicata. Le carte mostrano un costo in energia e il tipo di carta: Attacco, Difesa, Potenziamento o Indebolimento, oltre a una descrizione dell’effetto. Quando hai esaurito l’energia (in basso a destra) o le carte, termina il turno. All’inizio del turno successivo pescherai carte dal tuo mazzo.

Increasing Strike and Greater Increasing Strike have been buffed.
Fortitude buffed to match description.
Quick Enrage reduced from 50% to 25%
Toads and Turtles Buffed
Room scaling changed at 60, 80, 100, 120
Dungeons can potentially generate wider at deeper levels (careful pathfinding has the chance to avoid dangerous paths)

I thought Kong was dead and only checked it on a whim, and I was awestruck by this. People are still making great games on Kong!!! Despite the black and white figures on coloured graphics looking a bit odd, I gave it a shot. Very surprised and very impressed. As Caton says, this game has big potential. The multiplayer component is very unique. It's weirdly imbalanced, since a team of 4 coordinated friends will steamroll through, whereas a solo player will have a much more difficult time progressing, but... I don't dislike it, weirdly enough. If the game gets traction, you could have a "solo mode", and of course, if there are too many players, you'll need multiple instances anyway, but I like the novelty. The game does get a bit repetitive though. I reached level 94 with another player and gameplay felt very samey, but I understand that the game is still very early in development, so more content is coming. Keep up the good work!

The game has big potential. It needs some extra balancing though. For example, I was killed by an Elite spider which was webbing me twice per turn till a point where I didn't draw any cards per turn which rendered me completely defenseless to his attacks. Other than the balancing I don't see any other major flaws for the game, combats are intriguing, drawings are nice, upgrade system is great. 4 out of 5 from me on this one.
Thanks very much for the feedback! I too have been an unfortunate victim of the spider web debuff. It used to be a big problem (the spider web debuff card could be re-used and they were applying it over and over.) Now I've left them with two in their inventory and they expire on first use. But I could still see it being a problem if you get unlucky. (It happened to me the other night with multiple spiders at a time, but I was ready for it) I'll knock it down to one. Still an interesting mechanic and it will provide some pain without being not-fun. This change will be applied in the next lull in server traffic :)
