If the time runs out you will lose the game. But you can disable the time and play without running. You can also turn the sound on or off. Rather than make a time limit go down, have one go up. When people want to do a jigsaw puzzle, they don't really want a limit, but those people can still see how fast they did it and try to beat their personal bests.
