None of the initial upgrades before drone do anything useful at the beginning of the game. Why the hell would we want to buy them? Max box count and box holding area size don't increase your profit at all, spawn speed is countered by being able to spawn boxes with a click so it's useless until you (possibly) enable idle gameplay. And I sure as hell won't drag 100 boxes ONE AT A TIME just to see if the drone makes any of the other upgrades useful.
