left and right arrow keys to move the paddle, space to start the ball moving

This is my first game so I am open to suggestions on how to improve it.
UPDATE
- Added lives and scores
- Fixed the ball in wall glitch
- Added start screen
- ball physics
- pause ball on spawn and attach to paddle
- high scores list through Kongregate
Future Updates
-power-ups
-more decorative menu
-better wall design and backgrounds
-more levels
-possibly adding themed items for holidays/special occasions

I definately will, that is not supposed to happen...lol -update- Ok, I am pretty sure I fixed it, but I wasn't able to recreate the problem to check the cause, so if it happens again let me know.

its a decent game but your physics on the ball needs to be adjusted so it doesnt always do a triangular pattern, you should be able to control the ball making it change angle depending on how you hit it, also noticed that the ball can bounce off the paddle making the ball go straight down, not good at all if your trying to set up certain shots.
I had not noticed that last bit yet, so thank you for bringing it up, I will see what I can do about the physics, but it may take a bit to figure out.

On the third level, the ball somehow got stuck inside the left wall. It bounced around the inside border of the wall and the border of the screen. Please fix this.
I have actually had this occur a few times myself and am working on a solution currently
)
