Defend your pile of earth against enemies. Attack with your laser cannon which can be upgraded by collecting the powerups, powerups include speed boost and rapid fire as well.

Sir, there is a rogue ship destroying our tanks, what shall we do?"..."A rogue ship?! Quickly, send all of our tanks in single file to destroy his dirt, it shall demoralize him!"..."But, sir why don't we just destroy..."..."I said destroy his dirt! Quickly before it consumes this small square of space! And make sure all the tanks go in single file! They will be harder to detect that way!
