OK, I gotta admit that this is a really clever game. My main criticism is that I was confused for a few minutes when I wasn't able to place a block in a spot that was clearly available by Tetris rules. Perhaps if each zone had a slightly shaded area that showed where you were allowed to place a block?
Only other thought is to have a small multiplier bonus for clearing one side, and a larger one for clearing all 4 simultaneously. I'm only able to reach about a 1.5 multiplier, even though 4 is apparently possible.
When you place a block in a wrong position, the cells of the block are marked: green '+' means that you can place a cell there, red 'x' means that you cannot. If the block is fully outside incomplete lines and you try to place it, green bars will show where you can place and where you can't. Thanks for your comment and suggestions, by the way :)

As a puzzle game the idea is ok, though it would be even more interesting on a larger-sized board. Controlling is tough for players used to regular tetris controls - why not give an option for players to choose the behavior of the warping? What makes it worse is that regular movement is painfully slow, making adjustment by even half a block quite time-consuming. As for the messages, they do add some flavor to the game but perhaps some variety in presentation would be better than just red-text-green-text.

Suggestion : When trying to do "Warp Moves", make the Collision point on the edge of ghost, and not edge of physical blocks. This prevents a twitch player from doing Warp+Lock immediately, and creates fumble time. Also, adds a little confusion.
I thought about this and tried this method, but all it did was adding a lot of confusion. Here's the explanation in pictures: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1S02UteN-MZmyNM1WIe7v1eE-QG_o7ryHg-LU-_HGJTQ
