This reminded me of Knytt, which is not a bad thing to be reminded of, but it wasn't clear why I should be switching between characters. Some of the jumps were tricky enough that after dying about eight times I said the hell with it. It seemed like the second character is better at wall jumping but after every death it respawns as the first character so I kept having to switch back and then try the tricky jump again.
