Please make so "Automaton" also buys and upgrades guns for previously gained levels. When you've been offline and gained 200 levels, you still have to purchase and upgrade each gun manually. So in order to get anything from the upgrade, you have to stay online, which makes the upgrade pointless once you close the game.

@SecretYoosh gun exp pertains to leveling up the gun and getting runes. regular exp is the bar at the top of the screen that unlocks more guns

Sorry for spamming the comments, but just want to mention the trick to this game is to prestige/grand prestige as soon as possible. You gain most of the stars/pp within the first few minutes, then the progress drops exponentially. I learned this the hard way after trying to go days without prestiging. In fact, if you use this method, you can bypass mining totally. 1) use automator to set the stars to the amount you will earn every second (so you prestige every 2 seconds or so)
2) max your boosts while adjusting the automator so you get the max gain
3) after boosts are maxed, lvl to 400 and grand prestige
4) spend you pp evenly
5) repeat.
If you feel the progress to 400 is slow, upgrade the runes/do some mining upgrades. After a while you should be able to buy autorune which makes going to lvl 400 automatic, and you can skip mining totally, and you should be able to grand prestige every few minutes.
