Where to begin... first of all, avoid all slow firing guns - in fat bear-land, this slow firing means, "I wish to be eaten by weird animals chasing me." The shotgun is ok, as it's upgrading from the slow firing pistol anyway, but all others are to be avoided like the plague. Do not buy the magnum, the sniper, or the hype gun unless you want to waste money. Once you get to the point that the little guys start showing up from the front as well as the back, it's just a free for all of flailing around hoping you get enough exploding barrels in the right places - until you get the flamethrower. Since that's pretty much a short-range deathwand you're fine once you have it, just watch the ammo it eats it fast. The chain gun is even more ridiculous, machine gun with 1-shot kill bullets. Game does not end or change, just keeps going. Gets boring fast.

I'm very sorry, but WASD-only controls earn only 1/5 from little ol' me. Too many people already complained about this for me to let it pass.
