Riiiight... This needs some serious work. Firstly, after a few minutes of not really shooting anything because food was so grouped with weapons, I got bored and decided to see what would happen if I let it proceed as it wanted. I stopped playing at around 3000 population, and during the 10 minutes I watched it, it fluctuated between under 1000 and almost 5000, but never increasing that much further.
Secondly, at this point I got bored and came back several minutes later. The population had just gotten to 10000. Nothing happened. It kept going, flashing at high speed between 10001 and 10002.
Until something changes, this really isn't worth more than 2 stars, in my opinion. Sorry.
