Deskripsi
The first episode in long over-arching story. This first game is a shooter/platform that sets up the story, player and first antagonist.
Cara Bermain
W- Thrust(jump) or Up Arrow
A- Walk Left or Left Arrow
S- Walk Right or Right Arrow
D or Shift -Duck/Crouch or Down Arrow
P-Pause/Menu or Escape
Left Mouse - Shoot Laser
E - Shoot Plasma Beam or Right-Cntrl
Move the mouse to shoot in front/behind
Hints:
-Only the spear heads will damage you. Not the wooden shafts
-Save the plasma beam for boss, miniboss
-most enemies take exactly 10 shots
-you can duck right next to the spear tossers
-plasma beam will destroy spears

i'd like to aim and shoot with my mouse rather than have to turn the other way and shoot. unpolished, but still a fun game. thank you for sharing :)

Thanks for commenting. That's definitely the intention in the next one but adding it to this one would change the game drastically. I'll tool around with it though, and see how game breaking it is. Actually, just turning around wouldn't be game breaking. I'm going to work on that.

also add arrow keys for movement for left handed people.
Added. That's not something I've ever even thought about but I will from now on. Thanks for the input.

I will still be working on this over the next few weeks. Very soon adding more dialog/story, high scores API and likely boss battle music. (music is hard)

I like the concept of a side-scrolling story-based shooter. Starwish is one my very favorite games on Kongregate. Unfortunately, this seems to be a long way from complete. After moving around on the surface and killing some enemies, I went underground and into some caves, but very quickly came to a wall. I haven't encountered any dialogue in the game, and there seems to be very little to do. I may be missing something here, but it seems very unfinished.
