It would be great if there was a formation deployment screen, but it's an awesome game.

Would be way better if you could edit the ships.

This game is absolutely outstanding! Scenario wise, as MoratGurgeth mentioned, it's a closest call to HomeWorld 2's level I've ever seen. And that's a major plus. Mechanics are quite good, although I wouldn't mind having a chance to create groups of ships, which I could reselect by hitting a number key.

Thanks! Homeworld 2 is my favorite game of all times, and as you have probably guessed, the main inspiration behind this game.

Wow. I can't think of another flash RTS game with such a deep, involved and interesting storyline (it vaguely reminded me of Homeworld 2) . Major kudos for that. It's *almost* a perfect game ;) Seems like multi-select and move causes the ships to try and stay in some sort of formation (even when out of range of enemies), resulting in some very strange movements (although moving them individually works fine). My only major criticism is that spaceships shouldn't behave like bumper cars - the game may be 2D, but ships shouldn't be able to accidentally push each other around. That's the only reason I've rated 4/5 instead of 5/5. Apart from that, you've significantly raised the bar for flash-based RTS games. Haven: Prelude is above par for a commercially available RTS game, let alone a free web game. Thank you, SgtMook!

Why would a 90 degree turn be needed when a ship is instructed to continue forward? That turn took the ship concerned into a collision with one of my other ships, pushing that one off course.

Improved ship handling, should make path-finding and collision quite a bit better. Edit: Also removed hard collision between ships, as this seemed to be the most common problem.
