Easy way to play this without getting hit. level up your inventory to where you can use 2 items. Then set difficulty to max, then use shotgun only. Eventually you'll be gaining many levels each turn

this is a waste of time. spam the space bar and level up every 5 seconds, walk in a straight line killing things that cant even hurt you once you can actually survive past the first level, and die in one hit regardless.
