The controls are contra-intuitive to seasoned gamers. Please either change the standart settings or allow players to chose between your version and the more common WASD.

Sorry, but I consider the two-handed controls to be an important element of the game.

Did you actually play this? Having such an awkward control system means you basically need 3 hands to play. Make left and right controls 'A' and 'D' and it might actually be playable.
Also there is no motivation not to spam the missiles. I would recommend an increased cool-down.
I really don't see the problem. Right hand moves horizontally and left hand moves vertically, plus left hand's thumb fires.

As for the game itself, I don't mind playing around with my dexterity but you'll find flash gamers have specific needs. It can be hard meeting the needs of a general player-base, but having alternative controls is a great start.
Perhaps mouse movement would loosen the challenging part of the game but in trade you could add another element of difficulty to make up for it and open up to more users.
Best of luck, and don't get upset at comments no matter how rude/ignorant they may be as even if it feels good to vent, it hurts your integrity as a developer (from experience). Just make humor from it ;)
Thanks for the positive words. I did try mouse control, but found it too 'normal' and way too easy. I'm working on a different game right now, so maybe I'll remake LOMI into something bigger and better later, but I doubt it at the moment. I have too many other ideas I want to get to. BTW, you make great music.

I can see the beginnings of a game here, the two handed controlls didnt really pose a problem for me, kinda nice actually having to think outside of the standard wsad or updownleftright. A wee bit of storie and you can easiely have a 3/5 or maybe 4/5 if you put some more options into it (different weapons and or upgrades). I could also see using the LOMI on a city could be pretty fun as well >:D
