Developer Updates
Hints:
Rage mode gives you Invulnerbility
The 500g initially can get you 1 secondary weapon and 3 perks (reinforce armor, crystal processor and hp storage tank) or 1 special, get them before starting mission 1.
High end perks that scale extremely well with levels โ Gun Rotation (+25% attack speed), Rage Converter (damage convert to rage), Guardian Angle (save you from dying once and restore hp to full at rank 5, AND RESET EVERY TIME YOU DIE);
Low End perks that should get at low level โ Reinforce Armor (a total of additional 375hp, 30 defense, 30mp), Energy Generator (mana regen and +150mp), Improve power (kill faster)
Lastly, give this game a chance before you rate.

Really well done. The interface is very confusing, and will turn people off before they get a chance to try it out. The gameplay and upgrade system is great though!

Don't listen to the destructive comments.
Your game shows allot of talent!
Hopefully some people will acknowledge that

I am afraid that the audience of Kongregate is not the appropriate one for your game. There is obviously (to me) a huge amount of effort and time put into this work and it is frustrating to know that many players will not realize that. The huge pullback of your game for this site is the presentation. I don't think the weird "paint" enemies will appeal the ppl from kong and lots of players will abandon the game without giving it a single chance.
I hate to say this as you've probably worked really hard on the arts and everything, but I wouldn't be surprised that if you would change the interface, bullets, enemies, etc with a more "traditional" kind of esthetic (say ripped sprites from some random shmup arcade game), people could totally buy into your game.
Also, the game seems to be destined to hardcore shmup fans as it seems really hard in general (it's kind of ahrd to say, I tried this on a shitty computer and it was pretty laggy), not mister generic kong player.
