Description
Play one of three distinct classes as you journey across the Midlands. In Travelogue, you can make your fortune in trade, become a famous mercenary, or uncover the lost secrets of the ancients hidden throughout the land.
This is a demo of the full game Travelogue, encompassing two of the six regions of the full game and the first four months of play. Save games are transferable to the full version.
How to Play
You're going to have one of three different main quests depending on your class, but beyond that what you do is mostly up to you.
A good way to start for any class is to go and buy some extra food and some trade goods and try to get a bit of money and experience. Then, when you've got a few points in your primary skills (maybe a month in) and have some cash and gear, you can start specializing along your main quest. As a merchant you should probably be getting ways to increase your carrying capacity and speed (horses, carts, etc). As a mercenary, you can check out Witchlight Grove. As a scout, you can get some distance up into the mountains near Fericant before you hit the demo boundary, where your scouting skills will come in handy.
Developer Updates
Fixed the Dec 18th bug â its related to the time limit in the demo.

Let's not buy a bunch of on-sale games from Steam, let's spend $10 on a smegging flash game. Right. Every game with real-money microtransactions must be banished from my Kong.

The game just randomly decides to stop working properly on the 18th day of December. If an action is chosen, there is no way to press anything although the upper text still shows; if one tries to travel instead, the game hangs after about an hour's of travel worth.
Okay, I think this is fixed now.

loved the demo, except there is a bug when heading over to Farport. Every time I went up there at least another two of the "Arnoldssons and Sons Woodcrafts" would pop up, until I had to use the boat just so I wouldn't have to visit each one. I mean what do they feed Arnoldsson for him to have so many sons

excellent game although not yet polished enough to be bought. there are still many bugs to exploit, same events happen too many times and can be abused (such as the spices - one can buy an unlimited amount of spices and then sell them away in the same town for a virtually unlimited amount of mils..)
I love the concept though, and a lot of work has been put into the execution. Like I said, still needs polishing.
