How to Play
Use WASD or the Arrow Keys to *move* and *mine* with Space.
Developer Updates
We improved on the interface so it will give instructions in the beginning and more feedback while playing!
Additionally we balanced the game so that it is still challenging after buying some upgrades.

After play is clicked I see a moving bar on a meter, but nothing happens when I try the controls.

Horrid. Buggy. Grindy. Not fun. I love mining games but I hated this one. It's just not fun. Mashing on the space bar is miserable. Why can't he mine on his own? Picking up gems is buggy and often nets you nothing and makes other gems award you nothing. The gem-speckled rocks don't yield the colors you expect. The game is horribly, horribly grindy. The Power and Mining Speed power ups do nothing and the jump in the next upgrade price is much too high. You have one second to recognize a bomb and get away before the game decides you've been blown up, whether or not you touched it and whether or not it exploded. I don't understand why this game is even a Unity game when it could just as easily been accomplished in flash. And there's no way to turn the sound off. The instructions for the game are pretty bad and I didn't realize you have to press Space to launch yourself into the mine.
