it seems like the game was designed so you have to press and hold, and that's what's harder than it seems, but you can just flick the hole instead. once you get the hang of flicking instead of dragging, the game gets pretty easy. it's also really not clear why the maze turns like it does, making it hard to get better at just dragging, and no incentive to get better at it.
So there is a long standing issues that I can't figure out. Some people, like you, don't realize that the flag in the middle is physically stationary, and that you're rotating the maze around that stationary point. I've had a couple people now who did that and they all also started doing flicks instead of long drags. 1) No matter how much I twist my brain, it always seems super obvious to me (probably because I made the game.) I cannot understand how you're visualizing the game to save my life, its kinda like a blue/yellow dress... 2) Nobody I've talked to can figure it out either; several of the people who originally thought like you eventually realized what the game was doing either from playing more, or asking me, and they could no longer describe what originally confused them... So if you have any idea, or some suggestions, or anything you think would help I would be incredibly interested in hearing it.

What would make this much more challenging is if you had to grab the maze once and keep that as your only point of contact the whole level.
Limited clicks... I had a dozen cool ideas but I never though of that one, thanks!

Idea: make the center a protrusion instead of a cavity. I'm thinking maybe it doesn't occur to me that the maze is getting stuck on the center because there's nothing for it to get stuck on. I don't know if this is true, but it might be worth a shot
