Description

"One night, 40 days after his death, I woke up in a cold sweat from what I saw in my dream. I think they were my dear brother's eyes I saw the scorched earth of the underworld, tortured souls and unholy creatures. I must do something. I must save him."

Road so Far - is a dynamic platformer, where you need to help a nameless protagonist in his quest to save his late twin brother from the eternal damnation. With a help of a friendly witch the player will have to overcome thousands of obstacles and meet demons of hell face-to-face. The game is still on a really early development stages and it needs your support.

How to Play

Arrows to move around and duck.
Z - Jump
X - Dash
C - Action

I guess I feel the urge to complain about dying when I go to either the right or left at the top of level 1. It seems a bit unfair that the ground doesn't continue beyond either side of the screen, and that you can experience a falling death there. Other levels permit the same sort of falling death in locations at top corners as well. Was this part of the intended design?

dash works, but in level 8 passing the falling blocks is impossible...

Why use arrow keys, and have a separate 'jump' button? I never understand that.

Oh, it's like in the most retro game when they had a D-pad and a A/B buttons. It's more intuitive and comfy for your fingers.
