Description
A wacky arcade game inspired by Space Invaders, Missile Command and Pinball. All artwork, programming, and music by scobot.
Proudly made using the Construct2 HTML5 Game Engine by Scirra.
How to Play
Press SPACE BAR or TOUCH screen (mouse click will work too) to fire "PHOTONS".
Defend the ground and score points by shooting the invading BUFF MONSTERS. Try not to hit the "BIG BUFF CLOUD" floating across the screen, loose 1 point if you do!
Score more points than the BUFF MONSTERS to continue play. Score as many points as you can!
TIP: Shoot the DOODLE BLOCK to "power up" will act like a supercharged PHOTON and help you destroy BUFF MONSTERS as long as it is charged up.
TIP: Try to time your shots, be patient, and use the walls and ground to bounce your PHOTONS to hit the BUFF MONSTERS. Don't "spam shoot", take your time, relax and focus. There's more skill involved than it may appear.
Good luck and thanks for playing!

There shouldn't be movement traces. Fix it.
Hey thanks for trying it. I like the tracer effect actually, for me, that's what inspired the game and kept me interested. Initially it was an "art" piece, that I fleshed out into a game that I enjoyed. I thought it was cool. Not for everyone I guess. No worries. Thanks again for giving it a go :)

Am I supposed to see something?
I noticed there is a problem with Firefox, so if you are not seeing anything - maybe try a different browser. I haven't had any issues with Chrome, Safari, or EI.

After about 20 sec, it turns into an Escher painting. :P

Maybe try making the traces disapear after a while. That would protect the "art" side, yet we could actually play it too.
Yes thanks, that's a good idea @kazas and for awhile I had something like that kind of working, but it wasn't quite right (yet). Basically it was a lot like when the level loads, there is a "fade in" effect, but I wasn't able to finesse it enough to get it to feel right. But since you mentioned it too, I may take another swipe at it and see if I can make it work (I kind of liked how it looked too, so would be ok with it :) Thanks for the feedback!

not sure if game or modern art
I will take that as a compliment! (as I may not get many - lol) Thank you :) It started out as an "art" thing, and once I added physics, I started to think about making it into a game. So your comment is right on point. Thanks!
