Description
Depress your way through a point-and-click lifetime, taking you from a bright-eyed kid looking for cheap contract work, all the way to a financially crippled elderly person, with a horrendously expensive masters degree, waiting for the sweet embrace of death.
Eat food, try to keep yourself sane, don't lose your home, and try to not get fired from work. It's just like real life.
_Built for the UCC 'Life is an Adventure' Game Jam._
How to Play
**Update:** WebGL version should be working as normal. Firefox + Unity3D still highly recommended, for optimal depression experience.
Point and click.
Note that as you age, much like in real life, your maximum health/health regeneration lowers over time.
To get started, find a job - hit the "search for a job" button. Don't like what you see? Hit it again to re-roll, and lose a precious hour of your life.
Good luck!
Developer Updates
Made the random dice rolls a little less punishing. Re-balanced starting careers to be a little less depressing.
Balanced by adding additional depression, with adding a slightly dark hue over the game screen.
Days Survived now saved via Kongregate High Score system.
Additional WebGL optimisations made.

I drank for 7 hours straight, went to work all day, hit the gym, got a health of -6, went to sleep, got a health of 1, drank another beer then died at the age of 18 from poor health.

i survived for 250 days then committed suicide to stop the madness cause i had bought pretty much everything but gold health insurance and the insanely priced college degrees.

It would be nice to have a heads up that a month is really only 10 days.
But that's part of the fun. It's like a little surprise timezone.

Life's really all about jogging and taking walks, and sleeping, and working. No need to eat or anything unless your job sucks.
