Description
09:59 is a hybrid survival horror game built specifically for the Longest Lasting challenge. I took the endurance theme in a bit of a different direction than most of the other entrants.
This is my first game, and to be completely honest, I've run out of time; it's not quite up to the standards I had wanted. I'll be posting updates throughout the week to fix any bugs you guys find.
I really want to apologize for not having a mute button yet. Hopefully no one will get in trouble at work!
How to Play
If you are suffering from some performance problems in the shooter portion, be sure to close out any other browser windows you have opened, refresh your browser, and then skip the opening cinematic.
There are in-game tutorials for each of the two sections of the game.
There are two keys to the game, one is to get hit the least while in the turn-based mode. This means picking the best weapon for each situation.
The second is to use up the least amount of time possible to get to the end. This means, you should switch to the shooter game whenever Rex's endurance drops below 1x. This will ensure he has enough time to make it to the escape pod before the timer drains.
Developer Updates
v1.02 Update:
Fixed focus bug where you couldn’t use the arrow keys or WASD in the RPG portion. It should be impossible to lose focus now.
v1.01 Update:
*Fixed Font embed issues. All the fonts should display nicely now.

I really like this two phase game. But the limitation on the vertical axis visibility is a real problem. 4/5

Hmm, it seems to glitch up for me. When I get him to 100% with the nanoship, I get "I'm back", but it doesn't go back to the RPG mode. At any rate, a really neat idea and what I played of it was quite fun.
