I guess the red boss gets defeated over time? As a strategy, you can try to keep yourself between the red agents and the boss(commander). This way, when they strike you, you will hit the boss and ricochet back, pushing them away.
This is true of the first boss, but much harder for the 2nd and 3rd. But yeah, I was ok with the first boss 'accidentally die' over time as I didn't want everyone to die without having the chance to kill a boss and understand that this is 'how it's done'.

great game, the only thing i'd change would be polishing the dashing feature for was users
Yeah, a few people have brought up the WASD controls making it harder to survive. I could theoretically make 'everything a dash' tentatively (W = dash up, W+A = dash up-left, etc.) but I feel it might take a lot of testing to get right. I'm 'on it'!

chekpoint would be really sweet.
For the adventure mode, most definitely, not sure about arcade (it's roughly 3 minutes long 'speedrun').
