Developer Updates
Hi, Long time no see everyone. I know you all have been very diligent in wondering where the heck the Kingdom Idle update has been. Well, it is still in the works!! Kingdom Idle is being rebuilt to be more visually pleasing, complete with animations, more resources, a better economy, and much more. So, I appreciate all of your support, and keep your eyes peeled for a full release in the next couple of months.
Now, on to the real reason behind this post. I have a second game uploaded, titled Game Dev Incremental. It is still in itโs infancy, but plans and expansion development are well underway. I want to hear your feedback. Let me know what you think of the gameplay, the layout, and the overall theme of the game.

Save button needs a pop-up that says "Game Saved" so we know that the game was saved, there have been multiple times now that I've hit the save button before closing the window only to reload the game and it pick up from yesterday or even earlier. I love the game, and I love seeing it being developed in real time, but the constant loss of data is quite frustrating...

oh NOW I see the game Instruction section on kong page said I must restart before the game will work. I would suggest putting a input pop up just for people like me that almost never read the instruction section when there is already a in-game tutorial.
I will definitely do that for the time being until i can get this issue resolved. Thanks for the feedback :)

Would be nice if we can stop the "Growth %" when you have positive food income, because if you want to maintain your army (while you idle) you need positive food income, but every time a habitant joins your castle the production decreases.
Well, to be honest, I may take it a step further than. Since each resource now runs on its own timer, I have been toying with the notion of giving each building its own growth bonus, leading to a small (perhaps 1% or less) bonus to production and maybe worker pop max for that building per growth level of the building...meaning, if implemented, by having farmers working on the farm, the farm gains xp or growth, and when it levels up, your farms would be producing slightly more each level, which in turn means that this game could then be left idle indefinitely, because there will always be an increase in food production, and growth, so that given enough time and levels, idling farms will eventually start producing more food than your soldier max consumes per attack, leading back to a surplus growth. I dunno, just something I've been mulling about it my head. Everyone let me know what you think.

Really, weโre all one big dev team on this projectโฆI am the lead developer, Iโve had code help from a few assistant developers, and I have a growing number of testers, that are constantly giving me feedback. All I have to do is listen, and my game is great, because you all helped make it that way. So, thank you! It would never have gotten this far without gamers doing what they love." I just wanted you to know that I really do appreciate all of your contributions to this project. This is what the gaming community is all about, right here. Thank you all.
