Pop Pies is a great daily puzzle game. Explode chains of splodey pies for points. Bigger chains and cleared columns will get you the best points. Good luck!

How to Play

The object of Pop Pies is to get the highest score possible by blowing up chains of Splodey Pies.

The board is covered with five colors of pies. Pies are unstable and can explode if they are next to pies of their same color (horizontally and vertically). If you click on a pie that has a like-colored neighbor, they will all highlight. If you click on a highlighted pie it will explode along with its like-colored neighbors. The larger the chain of pies you explode, the bigger the explosion and the higher your score. The score for your currently-highlighted chain of pies is shown next to the "Chain:" label.

The game is over when you can make no more chains of pies (i.e. there are no two pies of the same color next to each other). Once you've blown up as many pies as possible, you can enter your score for tomorrow's high score table.

The key to making a big score in Pop Pies is to blow up very large chains of pies. The score of a chain grows disproportionately to its size. A 2-pie chain is worth one point. A 13-pie chain is worth 144 points. It's possible to make board-spanning chains that are worth thousands of points, and this is how you'll get the big scores. Planning ahead is the key. Blowing up a couple of big chains will tend to land you a high score. If you're getting near the end of the game and you're having a hard time finding the remaining matches that will end the game, the light bulb button will highlight a match for you.
