Description

Build towers to defend your magic portals… and then send waves of minions to crush enemy defenses! This is not traditional Tower Defense game. This is a fast paced, multiplayer oriented strategy with TD elements. Prepare yourself in training mode and then test your skills against other players or get a high score in single player mode! Submitted for Unity game contest.

QWER – towers shortcuts
ASDF – minions shortcuts
Game has built in tutorial and handbook with additional info on gameplay.

Developer Updates

Feb 13, 2011 5:53am

Version 1.1.3 (Feb. 15, 2011) changes:
- We have changed the gold management in game. Now you get it for sending minions and killing enemy minions. There is also new use for it…
- … You can now make your minions stronger using gold
- We have also changed damage dealt by minions and production times. The game should now be less mindless clicking and more thinking what you need to produce to win.
- Tower marker now turns red if you can’t build a tower instead of disappearing.
- We’ve also made few other small changes and improvements in few places.

Version 1.1 (Feb. 14, 2011) changes:
- We have completely reworked the minion upgrades system. Now, instead of upgrading minion you produced, you make all your minions stronger. This way producing one type of minions is no longer best, or even good strategy. See more information in in-game handbook
- Single player mode – you can fight against computer on 3 difficulty levels and get a high score on 2 and on 3 lanes!
- Easier minion sending with additional buttons (see in game)
- Minor tweaks to all aspects of game

Well...I like the concept and the gameplay, there's just not much to it yet, is there? Definitely needs more maps, more tower types, and a campaign for single player wouldn't be a bad idea. Upgrades for minions would be nice but not necessary. Not rating yet to see what you guys do with it.

Needs lots of things: levels with different maps, some kind of limit on the troops other than a timeout that is the same for all. Most of the time is spent just waiting for your troops to beat theirs - gets boring. Either allow troops to overlap to make the battle quicker, or make an open map where towers define the path - so there can be multiple paths to the other side.

Hi guys... First of all, thanks for comments. They are very helpful. As you can see from update log we are still working on gameplay to get it "right". While we would love to add more content (minion types, maps, single player campaign) it is a lot of work. We will get to it, but for now we are concetraiting on making what we have at least a bit fun. The biggest problem is that we first envisioned this game as mainly multiplayer... Still stay tuned, as we will add features from time to time ;)

More variety. Love the tower minion combo. Maybe more minion types that are purchased through a between level upgrade system. And the ability to upgrade either the minions or the portals (to produce stronger minions).
