Developer Updates
Ver. 1.0.2 + 1.0.3
Sorry for the slow updates. Had some contract work to finish. Anyways, more apologies for the high-end costs. I lowered the prices, and made coins drop more often now.
Still working on the Stars difficulty.
Also, Happy Valentineâs Day!

its a little hard to guess what the upgrades exactly do, so some explanation would be nice. The music and optics are both kinda nice, and it's fun to play. I don't really get why you can craft and buy stuff in a shop with the same currency, but maybe that's just me being over-critical.
What I don't really like though is that you can't upgrade your movement speed. Or make the cat a little more reactive (although I get that you should have a little latency when using a jetpack, it feels weird. Maybe because the thruster animation doesnt change as you stop elevating?)
And finally, I don't get how stars are distributed. In the first level I got all of them, though I was injured and didnt kill everything. In the fourth level, I only got 2 and I have no idea why.
Hmm, lemme try adding some tooltips for the weapon upgrades. (that's a pretty good suggestion on hindsight actually). Yeah for the shop, the mobile version had pearls which are premium/paid currency, but I didn't think it was appropriate for the web version. Still the shop sells more weapons than crafting, so you might get better equipment when it refreshes if you're lucky. I'll think about adding a speed upgrade/chip. Last time I added it some more casual players got dizzy, lol. Stars are based on your score, which is based on total Cyberfish caught/killed. Maybe I should put a text label explanation at the game over screen maybe?

For a 'simple' game that you built to gain more experience, you have a surprising amount of features. An upgrade system. Options that are unlocked as you progress. A 3 layer background. Game pauses when you change tabs. My primary recommendations? Increase the resolution so you can see more and increase the speed of the hero (It feels sluggish to an unfun degree)
Hi Steaming! How ya been? Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, the game feels better on an iPad, as like you said, the web version feels a little cramped (I had to shrink the screen because of Kong's chatbox on the right). For faster gameplay speeds, ya I can see how hardcore gamers would find this game a bit slow. Maybe I should make a bullet hell game next time, lol!

Seems like the only way to get enough money for even one upgrade is getting achievements.
Considering that the atual prize for an upgrade is between 1000 and 2000, it is quite ridiculous to only get 65 coins from a whole level!
Bumped up the coin drop rate! Hope it helps!

Instead of telling me to click, you could tell me/ implement a shortcut for that rocket super move , so I don't have to click there whenever I wantto use it!
Yes, very nice suggestion! I'll add it on the next update.
