Description
Build up your city from scratch! You have one year to show what you are capable of, then your major mandate ends! Make sure to not focus solely on profits & keep an eye on the pollution!
Game ends if the pollution reaches 100, in which case the national environment agency will step in and demolish your city to the ground!
How huge can you make it? How big can your cash stack be at the end?
Note: This game is a prototype, so it is short for now with limited features. Currently it is also not saving so progress is lost on refresh. If you enjoy it and would like me to keep working on it let me know in the comments :)
How to Play
Click to collect food, materials and energy. Build housing to be able to attract more citizens. Build various buildings to provide work place for citizens who will then produce resources for you.
Farms and factories slowly pollute the city, so make sure to negate it by having enough purification plant workers!

Displaying Cash as 'Total Production' is a bit odd. Highlighting available purchases doesn't always appear to work. Annoying to scroll up and down to get to various options. Otherwise, great work and a good start.

I'm not sure that the purification plant upgrade works, have 20 upgrades, one worker is still only 4.
I'm getting the same results and I will look into it ASAP. Thank you for reporting it

how is this difficult? you just keep enough purify workers to keep pollution at 0, thats it.

Yeah, nice start. You're waisting space. I suggest something like tabs. You could combine the upgrade, expand and assign into one thing. Combining numbers with buttons would be good I think.
This was just a prototype and visuals were made for full screen setup and as visible now, are not optimal for any kind of smaller layout. I will re-arange something to make it fit more easily. Will also try tabs! Thank you for the feedback!

Having a purification plant with 2 workers (should remove 0.08 polution i presume), a polution rate of 0.012 and a rapid increasing polution level... I think this is not expected behaviour?
If you have more polution from other buildings than the purification plant manages to clean, the polution rate will be positive and the polution level will rise. Hope that explains it.
