Description

A mini strategy game. Upgrade the land to stop the darkness. Build villages, towers and more. The available upgrade is based on the adjacent areas and areas boost each other, so make sure to experiment and discover all possibilities. There are two ways to win in Standard Mode; one of them is a bit harder if you like a challenge. Then play Extended Mode with more upgrades and three new ways to win.

Made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 42 (this version has been updated since then).

How to Play

Click on areas to upgrade them, if you have enough resources. The available upgrade depends on the adjacent tiles.

There are two "hidden", or rather unexpected, tile transformations, besides the second endgame building. One is the water tower, which can be built on a field next to a magic village and a water tile. Another is Forest lvl 0, which can be built on a field when it is next to 1 village and 3 forests. Is there any other secret upgrade in the game?

Good finds! You found everything for now, but I do hope to add a few more later. Edit: with the new update, there are a lot more!

I like that there is more than one way to win, and the option to keep playing.

When we unlock a structure, we should be able to know the requirements. I built several structures like mainport, stone tech center, mushroom city, great city of tech and magic and I don't really know the exact requirements

I was hoping the Tower of Water would allow me to utilize the water squares in some way. Great game though
