Obama decided to celebrate Lief Erikson on October 9th? Since when did Obama decide that? That holiday has been around for a long time, it didn't just magically appear in 2012. Other than that... The game is interesting for sure. It's not quite 'there' though. At least for me. Nice try.

We had misinterpreted Obama's proclamation: http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2012/10/09/presidential-proclamation-leif-erikson-day-2012 ...not realizing that the proclamation is part of how every president since Johnson has acknowledged the holiday.
