You should let the player know that the game is first to 21. Since that is such a high number, most people will get bored before then and assume the game just goes on forever (and is therefore pointless, people like being able to win).
Also not sure what the impossible part is (besides the lack of a speed limit on the ball?), looks like classic pong rotated 90 degrees :p
