Description
Fruit Shoot is a simple point and click shooting game featuring a small variety of fruits. The aim of the game is to achieve the highest score, with a level cap at 20.
Fruit begin to fall from the trees which if missed and destroyed remove some of your life. By clicking on them (shooting) you can destroy them recieving both life and health in return.
Apples require one shot. Lemons require five shots and give more points and health. While pears require eight shots.
Hitting ten fruits in a row gives a combo multiplyier.
You start the game with a magazine of three bullets. By destroying fruit you gaim experience and level up. Each level gives you a greater ammo capacity. Ammunition needs to be reloaded when the magazine is empty.

The general controls for the above game are:
LMB - Shoot or select

Developer Updates
Tip: When the lemons appear focus on them instead of the apples. Same goes for the pears.
Tip: You only start with three rounds, your ammo cap increases with each level. Remember to reload early on, else its easy to lose life quickly.

Not a bad game. The artwork is really nice and distinct, although two different styles. I love the chilled music. Although the sound effects could do will a little work. The gameplay was nice. However, it does become a little hectic and repetative towards the level 15+ mark. Maybe in a future update, add a variety of levels or maybe some manual upgrades instead of the automatic ammo enlarger. Love the beginning screen though. Very aesthetic. Hope to see more of your work.
Thank you for trying my game. Yeah, you've suggested areas I'd like to improve on. I had thought about changing the gaming dynamics to later introduce a bit more variety. At the moment its mainly a highscore grinder. This game is partly my first attempt, to them build upon afterwards. I appreciate the feedback. :)

If you make another game, try to just call it by the title and not include your name in it. Thought the choice is yours and you aren't necessarily inclined to listen to me.
Thank you for the feedback. I think I'll take your advice on board. I felt 'Fruit Shoot' was a little too generic, and on a whim I added the later part. Instead I should have chosen something more original. Much appreciated.

The "ammo" loaded, only goes up to 3/5 instead of a full 5/5 and if I'm not quite mistaken, only starts with 1 of those 3 loaded :\
Thank you for your comment. The loaded 'ammo' is capped at each level by 3 rounds. So at level 1 you only have 3 rounds before you need to reload. At level 2, this goes up to 6 and so on. For me the game starts with 3 rounds loaded with two empty spaces in the magazine. Unfortuantely I had to change the game mechanics around after I had created a lot of the artwork, so I kept the 5 shot magazine despite it not always loading fully to begin with. If howeve you are finding that only 1 bullet is loaded when you start the game, please let me know again and I'll look into seeing why that happens. Thank you for your feedback.

The sound effects made the game feel like I was playing a Cuboy game. It could've been better, but you struck a chord in my little cube-heart. 5/5
Haha, thank you for your feedback. I had to look up Cuboy (very entertaining). I can see what you mean about the similarities. Fortunately I'm still improving the above the game, hoping to extend it, change some of the artwork and update the sound effects. Thank you again.
