Memento Mori is a narrative platformer that examines the changes that a person goes through during their life.

How to Play

Controls:
Use any keys to advance menu screens.
Left and right or A and D moves.
Space jumps when possible.

Aside from the key-lag, the game is artistically lovely, and the story plays out nicely. I don't mind a hard game, but jump controls that (aren't quite as bad as but) near the frustration of the Nintendo Power Glove is exhausting at best. I did not have the patience to figure out the T2 baby jump before checkpoints were added.

All of that said, I hope we see more of this artistic creativity. Games that work well are easy enough to come by. Games with creativity are sorely lacking.

That is a very fair question. Ill try and explain it. First of all I would like to commend the artstyle and design choices, the game looks great. But jumping just doestnt seem responsive enough. I often fall off edges feeling like I have pressed space at the right time only to have the character not jump. This "key-lag" creates an unessescary frustration in a platformer.
