Snarfs - The Last Stand of the Billiard Balls

Description

In “Snarfs”, you have to take down the enemies – the snarfs – with a little arsenal of billiard balls. Since you only have one of each type of ball, you need to be careful to always accurately shoot a snarf, or else you need to move up to retrieve it, putting your in danger of hitting snarfs and losing time. The snarfs move in predictable diagonal patterns, but every 15 kills they get faster. If you let 3 snarfs through to the bottom, you lose. Every 60 kills you get amnesty and a cross (if there is one) is erased. Every 30 kills the cue ball comes into play, threatening to kill you, so beware and dodge it.

When you shoot while moving sideways, your ball gains a spin that sends it along a slightly diagonal flightpath. The more spin and distance between you and the snarf is, the more points you get for the kill. So it’s good to try harder shots to get higher scores.

This game is not a bullet hell action game, but all about skill in movement and accuracy rather than spray-and-pray style of play.

How to Play

Controls

Press Arrow keys to move in all directions
Press Spacebar to shoot the black 8-ball
Press S for the blue ball which can kill all snarfs in its path
Press D for the red ball which can kill snarfs in its vicinity
Press A for the green ball which can slow snarfs in its vicinity
Press W to switch sides and alignment of the fighter upside-down and vice-versa
Press R to reset. The highest score will always be saved while in a session.
Press P to pause the game.
