Description
Looking for a fun little zombie slay'em-up game with that old 80's - 90's retro " 8-bit " style graphics and feel? If so, this is that fun little zombie slay'em-up game! Hack, slash, boomerang, and arrow as many "zombits" (a.k.a. zombies) as you can before you run out of hearts, all while zombies get stronger with every kill! Collect weapons, achievements, coins, pumpkins, and power ups! Browse the shops around the small town of Ryona to buy supplies and upgrades for your weapons to survive. Also look out for invading aliens and evil snowmen!
Ryona Zombits is a small retro game I made for Halloween 2013, but I have been updating it to add some fun things like new items, enemies, power ups, achievements, and more. The main point of the game is to kill as many zombies as you can and have fun with the items that you buy. I try to update often with new fun things so be on the look out for future releases. How to Play
(The game currently explains how to use mouse controls only, please read these controls for better understanding of the keyboard control layout.)
"W" - Jump
"A" - Walk left
"D" - Walk right
"Space Bar" - Use sword.
"Q" - Switch items. (Or click the current item displayed icon.)
"B" - Switch to bow. (Or click the bow icon in the top left corner.)
"To Use the bow" - Click and drag the mouse to pull back arrow, you will aim the opposite direction you drag the mouse. Release to fire. The farther you pull back the farther the arrow will be shot.
"Left Mouse Button" - Interact with npcs, doors, and walk. (You need to be close to the thing you are trying to interact with.)
"Right Mouse Button" - Use current item. (Starting item is your sword.)
Click the coin icon to view pumpkins.
Developer Updates
Updated to v1.0.24! And fixed a bug that was making the game not load for some.

Am I missing something, or is there no way to see how many pumpkins you have?

Click on the coin icon, it will switch to pumpkins. I added this info to the game instructions, thanks! :)

I like this, it has potential. Needs a story line though, badly, otherwise it becomes boring just slashing zombies and other things.
Thank you! Yea, a story or some small quest to follow would be neat to add. It can get pretty boring/repetitive fighting the same monsters over and over, but I do try to add new fun things in each update while updating often. Updates may slow down due to a sequel called "Ryona Adventures" that is in the works which has a story to follow, quests, character customization, dungeons, leveling, and more! I will have more about Ryona Adventures at a later date.
