Description
A Tower Defense game with a twist... your tesseract gives you more crystals every 10 seconds.
This flips the usual paradigm of wanting to kill dragons as quickly as possible. The longer you let them live, the more crystals you have before facing the next wave of more powerful, faster dragons!
Made in 48 hours as part of the Ludum Dare 27 competition.
How to Play
Click on a wall to build a tower. Double-click or right-click on a tower to sell it for half it's purchase cost. Every 10 seconds your Tesseract will emit a new Crystal.
But watch out, the portal is summoning Dragons so fast that it's less of a question of "if" you will die, but "when". Take down as many Dragons as you can! DEFEND THE TESSERACT!

endless - ergo boring (cut in wave 14)
Yeah, this gamejam game definitely doesn't have enough variation. Also, the balancing makes it hard in the beginning and then not hard again until maybe Level 16. What you do in the middle matters, but that won't become clear to you until it's almost too late. Anywho... glad you held on until Wave 14. Thanks for the feedback, the next release will be much less monotonous, I promise! :D

Crash on lvl 4... stopped ending creeps, but kept generating crystals. I built a ton of towers but never could figure out how to get the waves to start again. 2/5 but shows some promise. Would like to see upgrade on the existing towers.
I think the bug is fixed now. Thanks for reporting it. Yes, it definitely needs upgrades. That will be in some future version for sure. Thanks for the feedback & thanks for playing! :)

Nice game. I wish I was told that I would start losing towers if they reached the end. The game is quite well done for only 48hours to make it but can get boring fast.
Thanks for the kind words! :) Yeah, it does get a bit monotonous... I think there's a lot we can do to fix that by the next version. I'll also try to make it more clear what happens when enemies reach the Tesseract. Thanks for the feedback!

Good concept. Needs more work.
Thanks! :) Yup, I agree. It seems like there's some potential here, so there will probably be a sequel (with much more depth than the 48hrs version). Cheers.
