It's nice. But having to restart from the very beginning all the time is a bit annoying, especially since you need to grind and have to die to advance. Maybe you could introduce an additional way to get experience. Minigames, bonus maps that unlock once you have the needed skills. Achievements. Something that makes grinding less repetitive.

same as everyone else--by generation 14, I'm unbelievably irritated at having to restart from level 1. not worth trying to continue.

Fun, but it takes a bit of getting into. Two comments from the user perspective: 1) I'm still not sure what the "learning" upgrade does; 2) The restart from Stage 1 every time is a killer--maybe a save every few levels?

Also, a comment from the LD perspective: you've created an upgrader, but the theme is "Evolution." I think you might get some challenges on that. But any participant in LD (well, almost any) is a hero for me, so best of luck!

If we click retry it really shouldn't make us replay from the start. And is level 2 even possible? Also, you stole this music from The Other Half
