should have upgrades for armor, as well as weapon cooling.

Weapons should cool down instantly after room is clear. Standing in empty room waiting for cool-down is just retarded.

game is actually not as impossible as it seems. Once your weapons are upgraded somewhat you should be able to destroy enough crates/enemies to get medkits from loot. I only died (game over) once but that only causes you to lose your score, you get to keep weapons/money.
That being said, the game does lack some features. Waiting for weapon cooldown between levels IS a bore, controls are akward when you consider weapon heat management with multiple weapons, and difficulty should be tweaked (beginning is hard, but once you power up the game gets repetitive fast). Throwing in some better/creative upgrades would be a plus (drones, armor, heatsinks, more fun weapons). 3/5 just because 2.5/5 doesn't exist and you're getting the benefit of the doubt.

The total lack of any sort of healing, even between missions, prevents this game from going above 3/5. The ability to buy a single extra life for $50000 (more then you'll make by any means before dying) doesn't count.

Needs healing options. Otherwise, Pause menu music is awesome. Kept the game loaded to hear it while I studied.
