Description

You must design a heat sink to cool a CPU that is operating in a very dusty environment. As time progresses, dust will clog up the fans and cover up surfaces, causing the CPU to run hotter and hotter. See how long your design can last before the CPU overheats.

How to Play

You can place components by clicking and rotate fans by right clicking. Clicking an already-placed component picks it up. During the simulation, you can click to blow compressed air over the heat sink once every 20 days

Changes (8/15/2013):

-Fixed some performance issues people were having on Firefox (and hopefully also IE).

-Added an airflow visualizer for placing the fans/attractors, which should help with design.

Good idea, but it could use refinement.

Interesting concept, but for those of us who have seen a heatsink maybe once in our lives, maybe some guidance is in order. eg do I place this part away from the core, or next to it? Do I need one, or many? Experimenting just makes me feel more stupid.
