Description

Explore the dynamics of bacterial growth in a sandbox fashion! This is some old thing I made which I recently decided to revive. It's really not a game with an objective, but it is interactive, so I thought I'd submit it.

Also, please don't tell me I fail biology forever. I know it's not accurate.

How to Play

WARNING: This is a sandbox/simulator, not a game where anyone wins.

Basically, click anywhere on the screen to place bacterial cells. Bacterial come in all sorts of flavors with different behaviors. (Note: There are 4 species, colors are purely decorative.)

Also, the options and graph buttons let you view the options and the graph. They're kinda interesting.

"for a sequel, i'd like to see maybe different stats for each color" How about they all start off as the same basic stats, but then slowly evolve over various generations? Then you can introduce a population at whatever stats you would like. Have them be tied to a team number too, so that you aren't limited by the few colors that you put in, and they can be whatever color you want. Having the border color changeable from black could also help distinguish/customize the species.

for a sequel, i'd like to see maybe different stats for each color, like the blue herbivores move faster and the whites multiply faster. And also make a higher food chain if possible, like large predators that eat the normal predators. Great game 5/5

Maybe a pause button that allows you to place the bacteria in one go and maybe the option to place special objects that affect the bacteria like blocking them, making the bacteria in the area reproduce at a faster rate or kill them off slowly. Still awesome game :D 5/5
