@bestgamer and others: Thank for your input, a pause button will come. Re strafe and reverse: I will certainly consider it, but I feel like a lot of the challenge and fun lies in only having control of direction and having the inertia coming from back thrusters.

Would be a better game if I had more control over the ship, add a reverse function, and strafe. Also a pause button would be nice.
