Description

Carve down the mountains as you go for the topscores and toptimes, in this snowboarding game based on the great ssx series.

Currently there are only 3 events, but I'll add more in the future.

How to Play

Arrow keys to move on ground
Ctrl key to jump (keep it pressed to charge your jump)
Arrow keys to do trick in the air (spins & flips)

you can't steer when charging your jumps, but you can charge your tricks with the arrow keys then instead.

Q'-key to use your boost to go faster (you gain boost by doing tricks)
'R'-key to respawn on the track
Esc key to pause the game and open the ingame-menu

The red snowflakes in the trick events multiply your current trick's score by 3

It's alright, I guess. You shouldn't have it so that holding a direction in the air when you didn't jump before hand makes you turn. I know that when you're charging a jump and holding a direction, it works like SSX. But if you just ride off an edge and happen to be holding a direction (or forward to go faster) you're going to face plant because you didn't get any air from not jumping and all of a sudden you're spinning slowly. That's pretty crappy. Also, you might want to advertise that you've got WASD/Spacebar controls added. They're much more natural than the goofy arrow layout, and people might like to know they're there.

@Kahlas: It's short because the unity contest came quite unexpected and I had to rush it to get it up in time. But like I said, I'll ad more levels later.
@HeroKid55: Do you mean the spawning after you crash or when pressing R ? I know camera acts strange when respawning, but other than that it should work fine?
@DanePS: You do deflect of the walls, but you have to hit it with your board as flat as possible for best landing. Have you ever played ssx ? the game works in a similar way.

okay we all get it, unity has nice graphics. Now quit making demo games and make some real games for it and I'll be impressed.
