The controls are fudged. A should be back kick, S should be upward attack and D should be forward attack and they should reverse when you turn around. That way each key matches the direction of the attack your signaling. It's too confusing like it is.

Never mind the fact that people are trapped in their houses burning to death and you have an axe and a horse. That doesn't matter at all. Just ride past them. Also, skip the burning woman you see, that's just your wife who died, so why should you be concerned? Then, in the name of vengeance, escape and kill a dragon, with a hand-axe of course, that was just being itself. Of course, then proceed into the clichely named forest, and use your horse to kick around some wolves, who you intruded in on, all while jumping to catch white orbs which make you feel pretty good (nothing like cocaine). So, all in all, a pretty feel-good game.
