Description
This game was made for the Ludum Dare #21, a competition where you have to make a game from scratch within 48 hours. The theme this time was "Escape".
In my entry, "Bunnies, Back Into Your Cage" you play some random person who has the task to catch bunnies which escaped from their cages.
You can allure them back into their tiny prisons by collecting a carrot.
How to Play
Arrowkeys/WASD - Movement
Shift+Movement - Picking and Dropping Blocks
R - Restart Level
Q/E - Zoom
Developer Updates
v1.3: Some text added (mainly as tutorial). Picked blocks are now marked with a rectangle. You cannot die anymore when falling out of level. Levels can now be chosen with number keys (in menuscreen).
v1.2: I reworked the controls for easier using. You have to use Shift now in order to pickup/drop blocks. Also, WASD is possible. Second thing is, it shows the moves as some kind of score now. Have fun! :)
v1.1: Fixed a bug where two levels could be loaded at the same time, WTF. Also, level 9 is a little bit harder now I think.

Ok, here is what I have so far
1. Tap down to pick up a block below you, and to place a held block below you.
2. You can jump and grab a block in midair.
3. If there is a flying block above your head, you can pick it up by pressing up.
4. On level 7, you will see a zombie looking block. He can also move blocks, but will only do so to get to you. He does not harm you, but will stop at nothing to get to you (unless you get far enough).
5. On level 8 there is a new character, who seems to do things randomly.
6. You probably figured this out. But the only way to move the bunny horizontally is to use the carrot.
7. If you place a block on top of a character (you, zombie, bunny, or random), they will end up on top of it. Use this to your advantage.
8. The game is possible to finish.
Woooow, thanks - I couldn't have said it better! Even though the green character is a goblin, not a zombie. ;)

Interesting concept, but gets tedious very quick. Very good for a game built in 48 hours.

Level 1 too easy: move left = win. Level 2 too hard. How do you pick up blocks underneath you?
By pressing "down"! :)

fix the controls, especially for pick up & drop because the game will kill you by dropping and pushing you into space for no reason at all.
The controls may not be the best in the world, but they aren't random. You pick up and drop blocks as soon as you bump into them - the direction doesn't matter. I am sorry, but when does the game kill you? This can only be done when you fall out of the level, but this should not happen too often (worst case is putting a block to the right when you're at the left-most edge and vice-versa - just don't do it ;).

First, gotta say I lile your game ;) It's just so must nicer than the other LD21.
The Shift control system feels better.
Anywho, noticed a bug. The second mob (lvl 8&9) takes blocks and if you happen to drop yours at the same place as he does, a non visible block is created. At least I think it's how it happenned. http://pix.toile-libre.org/upload/img/1314103959.png
Thanks for liking the game! :-) I am aware of that bug, but couldn't reproduce it until now. As soon as I have some time I'll try to fix that bug. [edit]I did an update, the invisible blocks should stop appearing now. (The problem was that the carrot can fall down, but I didn't disabled that ability when someone picked the carrot up.)[/edit]
