OK to escape the town just follow the street lights, they will lead you to the exit.

Ok... Life is low, gotta close my eyes. I should probably walk too. Ok, screeching stopped, time to open my eyes. Crap. I fell off the world. :(

The atmosphere is good, but you should do a few thisngs. First of all, give the player some kind of direction. Right now you do not know where you have to go. You could add street ames and let the character say: "I have to go to XY avenue," or lett him look for special waypoints, like: "From the church entrance I have to go left." Secondly, right now there is this empty town, the admittedly really nice music and the sounds indicating ghosts. The amosphere would be a lot better if there was more visual stuff. The ghosts could actually be visible and do some frightening stuff, your sight gets skewed and stuff, and you could add some shock moments, like someone screaming and then a body falling from a window and landing right in front of you. Just to give a few examples.

Interesting concept. I wouldn't mind seeing expansion of this. However, the radio screech is far too ear-bleedingly high-pitched for comfort. It turns the 'appearance' of ghosts into a test of patience, waiting in the dark while the radio squawks like you're trying to see how bad you can make the feedback of a microphone and receiver.
