Description
Use the arrow keys to move around and avoid EVERYTHING! New enemies will keep appearing, and you've gotta dodge them all. You do get a health bar for 3 hits to keep from dying too fast at least... How long will you survive? Can you go a full 90 seconds???
This game was created for the Experimental Gameplay Feb 2011 challenge: ASCII. I actually made it in 6 hours! If it gets any kind of plays at all, or you see even a glimmer of fun in it, I'm planning a much better version (to fulfill the whole one-week challenge to Experimental Gameplay), where you can return fire, fight multiple enemies, play with multiple difficulties (bigger versions of Squareface) and the like. It'd be called ASCIIvader 2: Revenge is a Dish Best Served Square.
How to Play
Arrow keys move. Don't die too quickly!

I see opportunity. Maybe add different types of Multiplinoids, like slow ones that take 2 lives, or fast ones (different color of course) rite now, sorta pointless, 3/5. i can see an easy 4/5 with upgrades. I hope to see updates =]

ASCII!!!!
Not original at all, but nice looking. You should improve graphics and add some animation on monsters and player. And of course add some 8bit music, people would start saying "OLd scholl bla bla bla", "Vintage bla bla bla", "God old bla bla bla".
