Description
Control your spaceship to avoid being hit by meteors or shoot lasers to destroy them. Earn points by shooting meteors and surviving as long as possible.
This is my first Kongregate game.

How to Play
Control the spaceship with the arrows or WASD.
Avoid being hit by any meteors.
The longer you stay alive, the higher your score.

*Update 1:
-fixed a bug where the fire was not disappearing when the player died.
-added a new laser that can be shot using the spacebar.
-added âplay againâ button when player dies.
*Update 2:
-added âShoot lasers with spacebarâ to the instructions
-fixed a bug where the player could horizontally move out of the screen
-meteor and spaceship velocity changes over time

Also, an animation, sound or shaking screen effect would be good when you're game over (also in combination with multiple lives).

Some difficulty progression and remembering your high score would be welcome here.
Also, some more complex behavior for the enemies (and different enemy types) would be welcome too (perhaps having them move in different directions and bounce of the left and right side of the screen could give a nice challenge).
My high score after 3 tries was 5555.

I forgot to mention-There's a glitch. When you die, the spaceship flare still shows.
