Developer Updates
8/11/18
1.1 โ The Sound Update
- Added plenty of new sounds to make the game feel more โrealโ, including UI sounds and general feedback for what the player is doing or achieving
- Re balanced the damage and speed upgrades to improve the difficulty of the game. Damage can no longer always 1 shot ideas after a certain upgrade level, and Speed is still as powerful as ever, yet costs much more
- Incorporated the Kongregate API to add high scores onto the scoreboard. May need further testing

Me thinks Darren needs a larger imagination, and more troublesome desires.

Pretty good, the difficulty doesn't seem to ramp up to much though. Also FYI if you add an extra 20px to the width and height when uploading your game you can get rid of the scrollbars.

No save, and no mute, so had to rate you down for that. And it would have been nice to know how many levels you have. I stopped after 62. Hint: You may not need more damage after a certain point. One hit kill appears to happen fairly early in buying those. Hint2: suppressor fire is useful especially after higher speed. Hint3: You can hold down mouse button for continuous fire. Thanks for the game.
Thanks so much for playing Norma! This is one of my first games ever, so I love all the feedback I can get. This was actually just supposed to be a simple inside joke between me and a couple of friends, but I've decided that if it's going to be on Kongregate then it needs to be at least a semi-proper game. Following your requests, I have now added a mute feature, and a save feature is a possibility for the future. The levels actually can go on to infinity (or at least until the computer complains), and there is currently no way for the player to actually "win". This was intentional (and slightly symbolic, for it shows that Darren is doomed), and basically the goal of the game is to survive as many rounds of bad ideas as possible. Also following your description, I have now made the Damage Upgrades more balanced and the game overall harder. Thanks so much for the awesome feedback!
