Description
Invade the Earth. Upgrade your walkers. Destroy humanity. Giant Walking Eye is a distance runner that puts you in a an alien eyebot, striding through 25 of the world's major cities. Use your lasers and missiles to fend off the human's pathetic attacks as your claw harvests their flesh for the good of the alien species. As you pick up speed, you'll gain a powerful shield, protecting you from tanks, bazookas, and helicopters.
How to Play
Choose a city to invade. Each city has a goalโdestroying tanks or helicopters, collecting humans, or reaching a distance. Kill off bazooka soldiers and tanks with your laser. Harvest the rest of the humans by letting them pass under your walker. Their flesh will serve as your money for upgrades. If you're hit while your speed is above 30 m/s, the shield will absorb the impact. Below 30, you'll die. The Mothership blast can help you survive Earth's most devastating attacks!
V to fire the laser.
C to fire the missiles (when unlocked).
Up/Down arrow keys to aim the missiles (when unlocked).
Space to fire a Mothership blast (when unlocked).
P to pause the game.

Several suggestions: 1) The laser crystal upgrade is completely useless and simply takes up space, which I can guess was it's sole intent, I'd much like to see it usable. 2) In the early levels there isn't any real eye-catching component to the humans that can actually do anything, sure there's the kinda large grey block they carry, but several times (when I was actually paying attention) I've been hit by something I thought was just another mg wielding rabble-rouser. 3) The rate of 'flesh' gain seems much too low to me, though that's something that would take many testing and testers to do. And 4) That transition sequence, with the eye, is that really necessary? sure it kinda lends to the name, but they aren't actually in the game... it just takes too long to go from the, two, screens of the menu that regular players will actually look at.

Doesn't it seem like the missiles need some kind of aiming indicator? I always miss if I have to manually aim at a helicopter.

I felt that this could have real potential........ a little more control available to the 'thing' . More control over the laser would be a great start. Good.
