Description

Collect mineral samples by planning a rover’s route on Mars and return back to the colony before the fuel runs out!

This game was created for A college course where students are put into groups of 2-4 people and are tasked to make a game in 3 weeks to a theme. This game was in the Mars theme and was created by:
Khanh Le
Delmy Reyes
Chris Dilday

The music, Odyssey (the menu music) and Acid Rain (the level music), was created by Keewy. You can find these tracks and more music by Keewy here

Other games made for the class in the Mars theme include:
Ares
Blow Shit Up: Mars
Curiosity on Mars
Dream of Mirrors
Endless Mars – Shred the Red
In the Red
Ares Cascade
Mission to Mars
The Red Frontier
Suicide Rover Simulator 2148

How to Play

Use the mouse to drag and drop arrow commands from the upper left onto the screen, then click run to watch the rover follow your commands. Your goal is to gather all the minerals and return them to the base before the rover’s fuel runs out. Try and get 3 stars on each level by using as little time and commands as possible.

Developer Updates

Apr 13, 2015 12:33pm

Chrome Users! We’ve now updated with Unity5’s Webgl, so you should now be able to play the game without Unity Web Player! It still may take a while to load though

The export is still new feature though, so please send a bug report letting us know if there are any issues!

It's a great game! Very challenging but the controls are so simple! One of my favorites! Keep up the great work!

No way to kill music/sound=no play and 1 star

The description says that it was made in 3 weeks for a college class, so while usability was a priority, an options menu with toggle-able sound was not. Once the class is over and I have more time however I will happily put out an update, and that feature will definitely be on the list of things to update with. Thank you for your feedback. Edit: And the mute button has been added!
